WHY COVERAGE COMES FIRST
Passing tests can still miss real bugs.
In practice, a Rails upgrade passed its existing tests but still missed a deliberately introduced email-normalisation bug. We counted it red. That is why we check test coverage before quoting—not after promising an upgrade.
